"A scale table model of the US Air Force Academy shows an aerial view of the Cadet Academic area looking west towards the Rampart Range. In the foreground is the parade ground. The structure in the extreme left foreground is the Academy Superintendent’s quarters. The main buildings dominating the center of the model are in clockwise order from the peaked Chapel, the Administration Building, Cadet Social Center, Cadet Quarters, Academic and Library Building, and the Cadet Dining Hall. To the extreme left of the photo is the Hospital. The two buildings to the right of the Cadet Quarters are Physical Education Buildings." (14 May 1955) |
