John C. Stults, Jr.


On December 14th, 2024, John Collier Stults, Jr., passed away after an extended battle with Multiple Myeloma Cancer. He was born to John Collier and Bernice Stults in Nashville, Tennessee, on March 12, 1953, and passed away in North Richland Hills, Texas.

John was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his sons, Ian and Brennan, daughters-in-law, Sara and Lisa, and four granddaughters, Kaylee, Allison, Eliza, and Violet. He was predeceased by his wife of 44 years, Debbie.

John attended the United States Air Force Academy where he met his wife and best friend Debbie at church. After 22 years of active duty as a pilot and engineer, he retired to work as a C-130 pilot flight instructor where he shared his passion for flight with young aviators. Beginning with his time in the Air Force, John and Debbie traveled the world, living in the Philippine Islands and West Germany and visiting many countries across Europe, Africa, Asia, and North America. After retiring, John put down roots in Sherwood, Arkansas, where he made countless friends at Sylvan Hills Church of Christ and Levy Church of Christ.

John was an avid reader, always having multiple books he was reading at once. He was a kind and caring man who loved to share his passion for learning and reading with his friends and family.
