Lt. Colonel Allen Michael Green, age 72, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away Thursday, April 2nd, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on July 27th, 1953, in Washington D.C., son of the late Murray Green and Beatrice Ryder Green.

Allen was a United States Air Force Academy graduate who proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 23 years, retiring as a Lt. Colonel. He was an Air Force navigator and staffer. Upon retirement he worked with the Vietnam Veterans Association and General Dynamics.

Allen was the proud father of five children and three grandchildren. He provided consistent love and support throughout each stage of their lives. He enjoyed spending time with his loved ones, friends, and traveling with his wife and family.

Allen is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Gail Henderson-Green, and his sister, Suzi Green Owens, and her husband Michael Owens.

He is also survived by his son, Aaron Green; his daughter, Essie Carter and her husband Steven Carter, and their three children, Emily, Mason, and Camden; his son, Noah Green; his daughter, Ruth Green and her husband, Riley Popovich; and his son, Sam Green and his fiancée, Sydney Grad.

The funeral procession will leave Waters & Hibbert Funeral Home, 124 West Gregory Street, Pensacola, FL 32502, at 10:30 AM sharp with the Pensacola Police Department., on Wednesday April 8th, 2026. Funeral will follow at the Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida. Following the funeral, a reception will take place at Azalea Trace, 10100 Hillview Dr, Pensacola, FL 32514, in the common room of the Terrace 1 building.
