"Keynoting the Cadet Academic area of the U. S. Air Force Academy north of Colorado Springs, Colorado, will be the Cadet Chapel shown in the background. The Chapel is sited on a dominant knoll overlooking the Cadet area. The building to the right will be the Academy Administration Building with offices for the Superintendent and Staff. To the left is the Cadet Social Center containing a 3000 seat theater and informal recreation facilities. The great plaza between these buildings, opening to the expense of the campus will serve as the Court of Honor." (14 May 1955) |
